cupric carbonate
Basic copper carbonate, malachite green color, so also called malachite, is a precious mineral gem. It is a substance produced by the reaction of copper with oxygen, carbon dioxide and water vapor in the air, also known as patina, and the color is green. Heating in the air breaks down into copper oxide, water and carbon dioxide. Dissolves in acid and forms the corresponding copper salt. It occurs in nature as malachite.
